I know you're here for the food, so I'll give you the recipe first and explain later...
I'm seriously in love with breakfast food, so I'll eat it any time of day. I actually made these for dinner one night and we had some leftover for the next morning. Which--BONUS--you can freeze these and eat them throughout the week if you have busy mornings.
Time for the details...
With these ingredients (the first 5, not the additional veggies), I made 6 large biscuits and 4 small biscuits. I had leftover egg mix so I made a few biscuit-less biscuits...if that's even a thing. If it wasn't, now it is. And honestly, if you're trying to do less carbs, that's a good option.
Also, if you have a large family, I would recommend throwing in the additional ingredients to make it stretch a little further. If your family doesn't like those ingredients, add more eggs.
Lastly, there are tons of things you can top these biscuits with. I did salsa and my hubby did sour cream on one, ketchup on another, and salsa on his third. They were all good. I'd also recommend gravy or even grape jelly! I'm a sucker for grape jelly on breakfast sausage.
We loved these and will definitely be eating them regularly now. I hope you enjoy them too!
